I feel so sad that for 2 weeks or more? I won't be able to see Toni's face on TV. Why? Because she'll have shows abroad. It's so sad because I will really miss her but on the brighter side of it.. Filipinos and foreigners will be able to watch how talented Toni is. So, I am praying that her shows will be successful. BREAK A LEG TONI! :)

LOVE YOUR OWN :)
When I searched Toni Gonzaga on Tumblr, there were a lot of blog posts that showed.. so, I read all of them. And this certain post really really strucked me most..
“Don’t judge P-pop so quickly!”
A friend told me to check out Toni Gonzaga’s new music video for her single “All Me”. She said it has a “k-pop” feel to it. And so I did. Hearing the opening tune reminded me of one kpop song but I cant seem to remember what it was. Anyway, the first thought came to me was- ‘Oh well, its another one of “those” songs’. After watching the video, one of the video comments caught my attention-
iParadise-To be honest, I was scrolling around this video and I also saw a lot of people saying this song is “so kpop” or “wannabe” or something along that line. I am not Filipina and yes, I have heard other Asian music being criticized for being “too kpop.” There is no such thing. Kpop is NOT original. Kpop artist have been inspired by the American music and American artist from fashion to autotune—ESPECIALLY autotune.
What I’m trying to say is that music does NOT have a race. Unless this artist was TRYING to sing in Korean or RAP in korean, it shouldn’t be criticized as trying to be “kpop.” Like I mentioned in an allkpop article, some people are too blinded by Korean music/entertainment industry to recognize how talented their own music are. They are “ashamed” of their own artist inspired by another ethnicity’s music. They “look down” on their own artist because they are a bigger fan of another ethnicity’s music. I mentioned I am not Filipina in the beginning and that’s because I wanted to prove my point in how some people are blinded. I am a fan of kpop but I also accept other music by other artist and I have to say this song sounded pretty good. Of course, the autotune was overused and the lyrics was pretty repetitive—but what isn’t nowadays?
Ever since Korean dramas and music (Hallyu) set foot in Philippine entertainment it became a big hit that our own Filipino music were taken for granted. Therefore they gave rise to new Filipino talents that has taken on the same genre as kpop ie. dance, electro music. OPM has never tried doing that sort of music before and as far as I know the closest thing we’ve had before was our novelty songs.
I don’t know but I think Filipinos has adapted this cruel mentality. That everything we hear seems to have been ripped off from another foreign artist. This sort of mentality should not exist especially towards our own people. Because of too much gossips and negative issues surrounding us, we seem to automatically refuse to appreciate our own known talent and encourage them so that in the future we could improve and other race will acknowledge us as well.
I truly thank iParadise for opening my mind. Considering that I’m a hardcore kpop fan I know I should appreciate my own roots.
Salamat po. 간사함니다!!

Toni Gonzaga's Malltour @ SM Megamall

At first, I was hesitant to go to Toni's malltour becasue it was really raining so hard. I was also thinking that there will be only few people to watch her malltour becasue of the weather. But, I decided to still go there because i know, it will be a fun and unforgettable moment. I was arrived early so I checked the place and there are already people waiting inside the area. So what I did, I ate first. When I went back to the event area, it was somehow jampacked already and it reallt made ma happy because i wasn't expecting that much considering the weather. So there, bought my second copy of the album. I don't care how many copies I'll have. it's really worth it :) Anyway, so while waiting for Toni I was observing the people around me and I can see their excitement to meet the ULTIMATE MULTIMEDIA STAR. The event started like, 7-7:30 pm because Toni came from the buzz. Her first song was Catch Me. And while singing that song, there had a technical difficulty but didn't stopped her from singing. The crowd even sang with her :) Then the next song was Can't Help Myself from her ALL ME album. and then she explained her album.. why it's worth it and persuaded other people on that area to buy a copy because there'll be an autograph signing at the end. After that, she sang her carrier single which is entitled ALL ME. Some people from the crowd can't help but dance. That song will make you have Last Song Syndrome. Seriously. And after that, Toni started signing all the albums :) So there :) For me, every time I go and watch her malltour, its really worth my time and effort because she realy entertains me and that's one thing I love about Toni Gonzaga. :)

TONI GONZAGA READY TO CONQUER ASIA?

Hello Readers! Its been a while since the last time I posted here. Anyway. I went to Toni Gonzaga's All Me album tour. And yes! it was jampacked! I saw her solid fans and some were those roaming around the mall and was curious about what's happening. Nevertheless, people loves her. So there, Toni arrived quite late since she came from The Buzz, once she got there the program started. Her first song was Catch Me but there was a technical problem so she started the song again. After that, she sang Can't Help Myself. one of the songs in her latest album. Then she thanked everyone who bought her album. And FYI, Toni's 5th album under Star Records is the FIRST EVER ALBUM MAGAZINE. Anyway, her last song was All Me which is very K-Pop. :) After that, her fans started lining up for the autograph signing. As a fan, it was great experience going to her first malltour. I was overwhelmed with the response of the people because we all know that its not that easy to have money right now but they chose to have an original copy of Toni's album. so there, i think that malltour was successful and I'm hoping that her next malltours would be like that too. and hopefully, when her album is launched in some parts of Asia, they too would appreciate not only toni's music but as our country's music too. She may give pride to our country just like lea salonga, Charice and Arnel Pineda. i can say, toni is ready to conquer asia.. oooops! but the world also. All we have to do is give her the chance and support her as she levels up her career :)

REVIEW: ALL ME BY TONI GONZAGA
I was really really excited when I heard that Toni's carrier single for her new album is way different from her normal love songs. It is really a big leap and challenging one for her. But, she's brave enough to at least try. So when I heard the snippet of her song, All Me, I really loved it. Because it's not the usual Toni Gonzaga song. Pero, grabe yung AUTOTUNE.. So, sayang yung voice ni Toni :| But then, she's super cute and sexy on that video :) Anyway, the video is very KPop-ish so I really understand why KPop fans don't like it. But hello, LOVE YOUR OWN. So yeah, though it's super AUTOTUNED I really really love it because it's Toni's song and she's brave enough to try different genre. Also, the video is cute and very entertaining FOR ME :)
FYI, It's already number 12 on Pinoy MYX Countdown :) GOOD JOB TONI FANS!
HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE HER NEW SONGS TOO :) SO DON'T FORGET TO GET A COPY OF HER ALL ME ALBUM WHICH WILL BE RELEASED TOMORROW, JULY 14. SHE WILL HAVE A MALLTOUR ON SUNDYA, JULY 18 @ SM THE BLOCK, 6PM :)

NEW FACE OF THE BUZZ!
At last! The long wait is over. Toni is now a host of The Buzz and what like her "sister" Bianca Gonzalez said, no one deserves but Toni :) I believe in Toni's hosting skills. She is really one of the best host. I'm not being biased but she really studies her script and does her job very very well. Though there were rumors that she'll not be part of The Buzz anymore, God is always good for He gave Toni the chance to showcase her talent and hone it :) i'm just happy for Toni because she really deserves it. :)
TONI GONZAGA'S INTRIGA STATEMENTS is the best! Plus, her first guest is Piolo Pascual. I am a fan of their team up. though they haven't done a really really big project together, their chemistry is undeniable. Her interview with Piolo was great! NAPAAMIN NIYA SI PIOLO. NAG-IISA TALAGA SI TONI. And I hope, ABS will give them a project together :) Most memorable statement of Toni during that interview was when she said to Piolo, "PERO ISA LANG ANG IPINAPANGAKO KO SAYO KUNG SAKALING MATUPAD AT PAGBIGYAN TAYO, IHIHIWALAY KO YUNG PERSONAL SA TRABAHO."
I LOVE HER FIRST THE BUZZ! :)

ALL ME ALBUM :)
MY FIRST
Obviously, the title of my entry is "MY FIRST" because it's my first blog entry :) I want to share my life as a fan of the ULTIMATE MULTIMEDIA STAR, Ms. Toni Gonzaga. My experiences, learnings and everything I do for her. I super wanted to make a blog about my life as a fan long long time ago but I always have doubts because I'm not sure of what I'll do. People might criticize me because i know not all of us likes Toni. But one thing I learned from Toni is to accept some negative comments because sometimes they are constructive criticisms and we'll help you as a person. And one thing, I'M ALWAYS POSITIVE. :) So there, i hope readers of this blog will somehow be interested with my stories :) And don't be afraid to write comments. I will appreciate those :)
Sincerely yours, SUPERFANOFTONIGONZAGA :)
